Wabuge Backs Shikuku for MP If Taracha Becomes Deputy Governor

However, he clarified that Taracha’s possible move to become Deputy Governor under Senator Boni Khalwale is not yet confirmed.
“Evans Taracha becoming Deputy Governor is not yet confirmed. If Evans Taracha eventually takes the Deputy Governor position, then my preferred choice for MP would be Deberious Shikuku,” Wabuge said.
Wabuge also urged residents to support Edwin Sifuna for President, stating that the message he continues to hear on the ground is “Sisi ndio Sifuna.”
He further called for a uniform voting pattern from the presidency down to the MCA level and mentioned Boni Khalwale as his preferred candidate for Governor of Kakamega.
Questions on the ground:
Is Evans Taracha being considered for the Deputy Governor position under Boni Khalwale?
How will this affect the Likuyani MP race between Taracha and Shikuku?
Will other leaders in Likuyani take a similar position?
Stay informed. Stay ahead.
