Likuyani — The race for the Likuyani Ward MCA seat in 2027 is beginning to heat up following allegations made by a local blogger against aspirant Brian Indeche.
In a post circulating online, the blogger alleged that Indeche and his supporters are using money to influence students, particularly young girls, in exchange for political loyalty. The claims described the alleged actions as unethical and harmful to the future of the community.
Likuyani Digest has not independently verified these claims.
The blogger is said to be associated with supporters of another aspirant, Bright Kyadiva, although this link has not been officially confirmed.
Indeche Responds
In response, Brian Indeche strongly dismissed the allegations, terming them as baseless and a reflection of “outdated politics of deception, mockery, and abuse.”
He stated that he has always maintained respect for Bright Kyadiva as his senior and expects the same in return.
Indeche further noted that, guided by his Christian values, he will not pursue legal action at this stage but has demanded:
A public apology
Deletion of the posts
He warned that failure to comply may lead to further action.
Growing Concerns Among Residents
As early political activity begins ahead of 2027, residents of Likuyani Ward are raising concerns about:
