Kakamega Youth to Attend Online Voter Education on 23 September
The National Youth Council (NYC) has released its Online Voter Education Schedule for the 2026 Elections.
According to the public notice, Kakamega County is scheduled for Wednesday, 23 September 2026. The session will be conducted via Zoom.
The voter education exercise aims to sensitize youth on the electoral process, their voting rights, promote active participation, educate them on the roles and responsibilities of the National Youth Council, enhance understanding of the electoral structure, and encourage youth to register as voters and participate in the upcoming elections.
The full virtual engagement schedule runs from 12th August 2026 to 5th October 2026, covering all 47 counties.
Youth in Kakamega and the wider region are encouraged to mark the date and follow official National Youth Council social media channels for the Zoom link and further details.
