Likuyani Magistrate Court Milestone: Old Constituency Office Handed Over for Renovation Using NG-CDF
Imbinga, Likuyani – MP Innocent Maino Mugabe has announced a significant step toward bringing justice closer to the people of Likuyani.
Today, the old constituency office in Imbinga was officially handed over to the contractor for renovation and construction of necessary amenities, funded through the Likuyani NG-CDF.
In his Facebook post, the MP stated:
“Today marks a major milestone in the establishment of the Likuyani Magistrate Court. We have officially handed over the Old constituency office in Imbinga to the contractor for renovation and construction of amenities, through the utilization of NG-CDF. This will reduce the cost and distance our people have endured for decades in accessing justice.”
The project aims to ease the long-standing burden on residents who previously had to travel far for court services.
Questions on the ground:
When will the renovation be completed and the court fully operational?
How many residents will benefit from reduced travel costs and time?
Will this project face the same delays seen in other NG-CDF initiatives?
This development is part of ongoing efforts to improve access to justice and public services in the constituency.
Likuyani Digest will monitor progress on this and other NG-CDF projects. Residents — what are your expectations for the new Likuyani Magistrate Court? Share your views below (anonymously welcome).
