Nangili Residents Protest at DCI Matunda Over Killing of Antonio Malungu
Residents of Nangili on Friday, 16th October 2026, held a peaceful demonstration and marched to the DCI Matunda offices and Likuyani Sub-County Offices demanding justice for the killing of businessman Antonio Malungu.
The protesters, carrying portraits of the deceased and placards, accused the Directorate of Criminal Investigations of failing to properly investigate the case.
They gathered outside the Sub-County Criminal Investigation Office in Likuyani, where they called for thorough investigations and quick action against those responsible for the murder.
Residents expressed frustration over what they described as slow progress in the probe, saying the family and community deserve answers and justice.
The demonstration remained peaceful as the group presented their concerns to the authorities.
