NYC Elections 2026: Youth Urged to Register and Nominate Candidates
The National Youth Council (NYC) has announced that voter registration and candidates nominations for the 2026 elections are currently ongoing.
The exercise targets young Kenyans aged between 18 and 35 years. According to the Council, there are over 14.2 million young people in this age bracket who are eligible to participate.
Youth are being encouraged to join their peers and take part in this important democratic process that aims to amplify youth voices in leadership and decision-making.
