Service Delivery Chief Officer Inspects Projects in Navakholo
The Chief Officer for Service Delivery, Dr. Phitalis Masakhwe, last Friday led a team from the Unit on a tour of ongoing projects in Bunyala East Ward, Navakholo Sub-County.
The visit aimed at assessing the status of the projects and identifying challenges that require administrative intervention.
At Buheri Water Project, the team confirmed that operations are underway as the project awaits the Last Mile Connectivity programme to ensure residents are connected to clean water, in line with Governor Fernandes Barasa’s water and sanitation agenda.
The team also visited Sivilie Water Project and committed to resuscitating the non-functional water pump through the Kakamega County Rural Water and Sanitation Company (KACRUWASCO).
Other facilities inspected included Tanga ECDE Centre, where increased learner enrolment is straining available facilities, and Lutaso ECDE Centre, which is complete and awaiting commissioning by the Governor. Lutaso ECDE currently has an enrolment of 224 pupils.
